About:Beijing Long-Distance Bus

Want to visit jiudaowan canyon and i am staying near Dongzhimen station in Beijing

is a day trip possible by bus? If so how much will it cost/ whats the best way to travel there?

Yes, one day trip is possible. You can take bus no. 987 or 980 at Dongzhimen Bus Station and get off at Miyun Drum Tower station. Then the distance to the canyon is around 14mi. You can take a taxi to reach in 20-30min. The bus fare is around CNY10 and the cab fare is CNY60-70. For the back trip, you can use the same way or directly hire a taxi or private car back to Dongzhimen.
