About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I am an Egyptian researcher at the Japan Do i need a visa for tourism in Shanghai for 3 days

Yes, you need to have a single entry Tourist L for visiting Shanghai. Since you live in Japan now, you need to apply through a local tour agency.
