Christmas and NY 2014

I an spending Christmas and New Year in China, which gas a better NY celebration, Beijing or Shanghai? Are the trains loaded during that tine of the year?

For the New Year celebration, there should be the Fire Work Show near the Bund. You can take it into consideration. As for the rail, it goes as normal at that time.
