About:Postage Rate of China Post International Parcels

Do I pay an extra fee to have my tracking number in the case of "Small Parcels"?

Please, if so, how much does it cost? I am sending a package to South America, Brazil.

Jun, you can choose to send your parcels via EMS or China Post ordinary service. Of course, EMS is much more expensive. If you use China Post ordinary service, it depends on how much your parcel weighs. If it is less than 2kg, then you can use small parcel service. The cost is calculated by computer. However, you need to pay extra money to buy the form and box inside the post office.

I want to use China Post ordinary service. If I need to track where my package is, I will receive a tracking number, right? Should I pay an extra fee to have it or is it automatically generate by China Post with no additional cost?

Jun, you will receive a tracking number and you needn't pay extra money for this. However, it might take longer time if you use ordinary service. And the parcel has higher risk of getting lost. If you send something valuable, you might buy an insurance for your parcel.

when you say "it might take longer time", you are talking about the time my package will be delivered, right? My tracking number will be instantly informed as soon as I post it, isn't it?

I meant that it takes longer time for the parcel to be sent from China to you. How long time it takes to delivery yoru parcel depends on your national post's efficiency because they are responsible for delivering it to you when your parcel arrives in your country.

Yes, you get the tracking number when you post your parcel.
