About:Visa Policy of China

I'm a UK citizen and I plan to visit Guangzhou from 3-5 Dec for 52 hours. Do I need a visa ?

I would arrive at Guangzhou airport at about 09.30am on 3rd December and my flight out will be at 10.30am on 5th December. I plan to visit the exhibition "China Coat". According to the PRC Immigration website, it states that UK citizens can stay for 72 hours in Guangzhou without it, provided that they have proof that they will leave the country within the 72 hours. I would have my boarding pass for my flight to Kuala Lumpur with me on arrival at Guanzhou airport on the 3rd December. Friends have advised me that it is better to obtain one as I may be refused entry when I arrive. Please can you advise me. Thank you

You have no-stop flight from Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur on Dec 5? Where do you fly from to reach Guangzhou?

If you fly from UK to Guangzhou and then to Kuala Lumpur, your situation is available to enjoy the 72-hour free transit. Remember to tell the airline that you want to enjoy this policy and they will help to declare first.

If it is not, you may need to tell me the detail situation for checking.
