Multiple Entry Visa to China for first time applicant

Me and my daughter are travelling to China for the first time to attend a wedding. We will be staying with the in-laws, not a hotel. We require a multiple entry type because we have already booked our tickets where we fly to Japan after the wedding for a holiday, then back to China (Guangzhou), then we want to take a train to Honk Kong (for a few days), then we return to China (Guangzhou) for our flight back to Australia. This means we will need to enter China 3 times. Am I able to obtain a multiple entry one as an Australian citizen traveling to China for the first time?

It is possible to get a multiple entry one if you can provide necessary documents to show you need it.

Since you have a well plan for your trip, you are suggested to write in detail, it may help you to get it easily.
