About:Huangshan Mountain

Hotel on top of Mt. Huangshan

Hi can anyone suggest which hotel are recommended aside from 5 star Xihai? Which has clean bed, good location and easy to reach also near good spot for sunrise. Thanks

The hotels on the top of the mountain all cost much. I just know a cheap one in the middle of the mountain named Banshansi Hostel (半山寺客栈), which is close to Tiandu Peak. You can share a room with several other visitors and the cost would be no more than CNY80 I rememer. The boss is friendly and sometimes gives guests maps.

Clearly noted from the reviews I've read that the hotel on the mountain are mostly overpriced with the service and quality given..but it left us with not much of a choice. Just want to choose the one that at least quite ok and quite worth the price, between Baiyun, Beihai and Shilin. If anyone had experienced and have suggestions i would appreciate it. Thanks

I personally stayed at the 5-star xihai because a chinese friend (local) made some phone calls and managed to arrange a massive discount. In my opinion the room was REALLY good (quite luxurious, rain shower, etc)
