ReplyDo you have any previous stamps to China on your passport?
The previous entry permits to China will help you to get a multiple type. If you do not have, it is OK. If you really need a multiple one, the embassy will consider to give you. At least, your passport needs to have at least of a validity of 6 months.00Reply
