About:China Travel Tips

does this itinerary require a visa in china or am i ok under the new 72 hour rule?

going bkk to guangzhou for 72 hours and then to hong kong to transfer to flight to isa

Larry, your itinerary is applicable. However, you need to make sure that the flight from BKK doesn't land at other Chinese airports before it arrives in Guangzhou. And the one departing from Guangzhou doesn't stop at any other Chinese airport before it flies to HK too.
