About:Hangzhou Travel

please recommend places to see if i have only 8 hours in Hangzhou

10 of us fr Shanghai plan to travel by train to HZ for a day trip. We will be relying on public transport to travel around in HZ. Would really appreciate recommended places to go for a day trip. Thank you.

For your one tour, I suggest you visit the West Lake, for which you can rent a bike to tour around or take a boat for a good sightseeing, Six Harmonies Pagoda and Lingyin Temple. Local public buses can take you to travel between these attractions.

If you take a boat to tour the West Lake, you can catch a boat at Broken Bridge (Duanqiao). After visiting, get back to the port at Duanqiao and take bus no. 7 to Lingyin Temple. After that, take bus no. 2 or Y2 to Sudi, where transfer to bus no. 504 or 4 to the pagoda.
