About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I apply for 72 hour free transit?

I'm Brazilian passport holder. I'm flying from Auckland to Shanghai (doing immigration in Guangzhou), leaving China (Shanghai) in less the 72 hours since my entrance in Guangzhou. As I'm doing immigration in Guangzhou and going to Shanghai, can I apply my 72 hours one free?
Thank you!

Since you will stop in Guangzhou first and then to Shanghai, you are not qualified for the 72-hour free transit. You stop twice in China. The 72-hour policy is only available to those making transfering in only one city in China.
