Getting Married soon, I am a little confused on how to go about getting my visa renewed

so if anyone can help me it would be a hug blessing.

I am a US citizen and I will be marring a Chinese citizen in late Feb. I want to live with her in her hometown (jilin 吉林）but my current one expires in May. How can I go about applying for a new one? I would like to apply for one that is more than 90 days and that will not only allow me to live with her in China but also that would allow me to find a job or start a our own job. I am not sure how long the permit would allow me to live in China with her but we are looking at buying a house in her hometown so 吉林 jilin would be our permanent place to live.
