About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would this itinerary qualify for the 72 hour no visa

I am traveling from New York to Seoul (staying 4 days), Seoul to Shanghai (Pudong airport, staying for only 1 day, and then traveling from Shanghai to New York. I believe that this allows me to stay in Shanghai by using the 72 hour free transit rule. Can you let me know if you agree. If yes, I am interested in using one of your tours during the day I am in Shanghai. Thank you.

DanC, if your flight leaving China is a non-stop one, you are qualified for the 72-hour free transit. So you can stay in Shanghai for one day without a Transit G.
