i would like to travel to shangli ancient town from chengdu.

Hi All, May I know what is the best way? I read some.says get a bus from xinnanmen  to ya an bus station and catch another bus to shangli. Does anyone try this before and kindly share with me the bus number and timetable? I need to know how to return as well. Thanks a lot.

Actually, you should take a direct bus to Ya'an from CD Shiyangchang Bus Station, (not Xinnanmen Station) first. Buses for this route are very frequently scheduled from 07:25 to 18:55 at intervals of about 20 mins. You don't need to make clear about the bus number. Just buy the ticket and find the bus easily. After arriving at Ya'an, you can transfer to another bus to the ancient town. Or you can rent a car to arrive.
