About:Postage Rate of China Post International Parcels

Are Chinese Sales People Over Charging International Customers on Postage?

I have a parcel of goods that weights 1.030kg (with packaging it may be 1.500kg) and I'm told that EMS to Australia will cost $156.00 USD.

Using the China Post online calculator for EMS services to Australia, I calculate the cost would be $62.00 USD.

William, EMS is more expensive than China Post's ordinary service. What you get on the website may not be accurate because you can't choose detailed address where you stay. I don't think they overcharge you very much. I used EMS many times. They weigh your parcel and then enter your destination and parcel's weight. Then the system automatically calcuates how much you should pay.
