About:Shanghai Metro

Closest station to Holiday Inn Express Zhabei, Shanghai

Hello, my hotel is Holiday Inn Express Zhabei, 1738 Zhongxing Road. A few questions:

According to Google map the closest subway station is Zhongtan Road station. Is that correct? It looks very far. Can you tell me how long the walk is from the hotel to the station?

Is it safe in that area at night to walk to/from hotel and subway station?

From my hotel, what is the easiest way to get to Xintiandi using the subway?

I just searched the map, and found out that actually the subway station of SH railway station(650 yards) is nearer than Zhongtan Road station (1300 yards).

You can walk to the subway station from your hotel at night, that is a prosperous place, don’t worry about the safety.

To Xintiandi: you can walk to SH Railway Station to take subway line 1 and get off at South Huangpi Road. Get out from exit 3 and you can easily walk to Xintiandi.

Thanks. I was thinking the SH railway looks like it offers better connection but google map makes it look further to my hotel than the Zhongtan Road Station.
