About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

is the following itinerary ok for the 72 hour visa:

tokyo to shanghai.. stay there 2.5 days.. then fly to seoul korea

According to the policy, this route can enjoys the policy. However, the Tokyo and Seoul are close to each other, so that the officer may regard it as a round trip. If possible, you are suggested to consult the airport directly for confirming this.
