I heard here are direct buses running from XM to Hong Kong, departing from XM Dongdu Haishan Lukou at 08:45 and 21:30. The bus ride is about 7 hours.
Or you can take a high-speed train to Shenzhen North first, then take a bus to Hong Kong.1
