About:Chinese Embassy in India
how many constitute Group for group visa? Husband & wife can apply for it?

The group needs to have at least 5 people to apply for a group type, so you and your husband are not able to apply for that.
Personally speaking, you are not suggested to apply for a group type, for it is inconvenient.
