travling from sydney to delhi via guangzhou

Question

Hi I am traveling from Sydney to Delhi via Guangzhou. I will reach Guangzhou on 6th,jan'15 at 1750 and my next flight from Guangzhou to Delhi is on 07th,jan'15 at 0730.   1. Can i go out of airport and stay in hotel overnight.  2. Please also suggest me hotel inside the airport where i don't even  need the 72 hours visa-free transit.

Your totally time staying in China is no more than 24 hours, right?If so, you can get out of the airport to stay in a hotel. It is a pity that there is no hotel in the terminal, so you may need to leave the airport to stay in a hotel. The closest one is the Pullman Airport Hotel.
