Info on river transport and buses to yichang

I am arriving to ChongQing around 8:00am by train. I am planing to do Yangtze tour to yichang myself, with little hiking possible. What is the possible way of seeing Ghost City and all the Gorges? I find hard to find info on river ferry and buses.

Hi, to see the Ghost City and the gorges, you should book a cruise for Yangtze River in advance. With that, you can enjoy the best scenery of the three gorges. On the way, the cruise will stop to take the passengers to visit the Ghost city (I remember you need to pay extra for the city).

May I know whether you will arrive in CQ North Station? If so, find subway line 3 nearby. Ride it and get off at Liangloukou, where transfer to line 1 to Xiaoshizi. After that, take a taxi to Chaotianmen port exactly for the cruise.

And as I know, almost the cruises leave at night, so you actually can have a one day tour in CQ.
