About:Shanghai City-Bus

I am arriving midnight in Pudong airport and will need to go to Nanjing East Road

How long is the travel time from Pudong airport to Nanjing East Road if I take the Night Line bus (Airport Special Waiting line)? I did some research and it said it will take about 3 hours if I take the bus. Is this accurate?

Is it better to take taxi instead? My research says taxi will approximately take 40 minutes travel time. Thanks!

Do not take taxi as they will rip u off!!
Take airport shuttle no 5 from down stairs in the airport , cost 40 CNY, towards the SH railway station then taxi from there for 14-20CYN

In this website, it says bus 5 only runs from 06:30 - 23:00 (T1); 06:35 - 23:05 (T2). I arrive midnight so I cannot take shuttle no 5. How about Night Line (Airport Special Waiting Line)? Can I take that? Where should I alight?

Hi, the Night Line will help. You are correct. By that, you can get off at East Yan'an Road Middle Zhejiang Road. After getting off, you can walk to East Najing Road. The bus duration is around an hour actually.
