chenghai - is it worth a visit?

I am visiting Shantou next month, Nov, 2014.Is it worth the time to make a visit to Chenghai. I know Chenghai is well town known for its manufacture of toys and knitted woolens, but I would like to find out if there are any interesting cultural or historical sites worth the trouble of making a trip there.Thank you.Darwin

Of course, yes. It is a worth place to visit. It's suggested to visit Tashan Scenic Area. This area features beautiful natural scenery and deep cultural relics. There are many temples and pavilions. So it will attract you. :)
