About:China Visa Application in UK

Apply in Hong Kong or UK?

Hi, I am a British Citizen with UK Passport; will visit my girlfriend in Hong Kong in January. We are planning to visit Guangzhou only for couple of days; I have my return tickets and hotel booked to Hong Kong. Nothing book in China yet; should I apply the China Visa in Hong Kong or UK if I don't have hotel or train tickets in China? Thanks

Have your got a trip plan to visiting China? If you already have that, it is suggested to book the tickets and hotels in advance in UK.
If you do not have any plan, you can try to apply for it when you reach HK. It is suggested to apply through a local tour agency, so that it may easier for you to get it in the end.

You'd better get a Chinese visa in advance in order to avoid any uncertainty in Hong Kong. Documents required in the following:
1 A valid passport
2 A photograph
3 An application form
4. An returned air ticket between UK and Hong Kong
