About:Hong Kong MTR Tickets & Fares

how much does an octopus card cost? i'll be staying in Hong Kong for 3days only.

I don't know how much credit is enough for me to spend in 3 days for the fare. :)

Will u use HK Airport Express and MTR a lot? If so, I suggest you buy the Airport Express Travel Pass. It is a special Octopus Card either one or two Airport Express single journey(s) plus 3 consecutive days of unlimited travel on MTR (except Airport Express, East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations). It costs HK$220 and HK$300 respectively (with HK$50 refundable deposit, enough for ur three-day travel.
