If someone is staying in China and they wish to travel, but they don't have a printer and cannot print out a booking confirmation, would this mean that, (like the previous person said) they just need the ticket booking number?

For collect tickets, you only need the e ticket number (ticket pick up number) and all the passengers' passport copies. You can write the number on paper, and show the counter with all the passport. They will have your ticket printed.
