About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Can I live and work in a different city in China from where my Residence permit was approved?

I have a residence permit in Wuhan, Hubei, China, but my company has me working and living in Beijing, China. is it legal for me to hold a residence permit in Wuhan, Hubei, China and live and work in Beijing?

It is illegal to work and live in Beijing, but hold a resident permit in Wuhan. You are suggested to go to your nearby PSB to consult moving your resident permit to Beijing.
