About:Suzhou Attractions

Please tell if there is anything interesting to see in the modern part of Suzhou?

I planned to use subway to get there and to have 2-3 hours walk.
Can you please tell where should I start and maybe name some places to see(some parks, buildings, interesting stores)

I would suggest you take a short trip in the Jinjihu Scenic Area to see the modern part of the city. You can take local bus no. 108, 120 (west line or east line), 168 or 258 and get off at Ferris Wheel Park (Motianlun Gongyuan) stop. Then you can easily walk into the scenic area, which is wothwhile 2-3 hours' visiting.
