would rooster(1969) and dog (1982) likely gwt along?

Susan, rooster and dog are actually incompatible according to Chinese zodiac. It means that these two signs should stay away from each other. But the prediction isn't always correct. I have seen many pairs whose zodiac signs are incompatible are still together.
