working with q2

Question

I recently get married to a Chinese citizen and I am in China on Q2 which we plan to change to resident permit. However I would like to find a job here. Is it legal to work with Q2 or should I change to Z? Thanks

NO, you can't work on a Q2 type at a Chinese or foreign based company in China. You can work online at home, if you can find an online job. Better if the salary was sent to your wife, not your account. Better if you find a job an then get a Work Z.
