Hi i am karthick from Chennai, i have a invitation from my friend (Chinese citizen) for his marriage

Do i have to show 100 USD (1000 USD for 10 days stay ) in my bank balance even if i have invitation, do i have to go embassy (Delhi or Mumbai) directly to apply for visa or i can apply online/agent.

Traveling date on 31 October

The 1000USD not needed, but you need to show your bank statement with at least 6 months' history. If you have a work in India, you can provide your working proof instead of the bank statement.

You need to apply through the local nearby CVASC. Applying online is not possible.
