About:Telephone & Cellphone in China

calling india and internet access

as suggested china mobile sim is good for making calls to india,can i use the free wi-fi internet connection which will be available in most of the hotels. i will be carrying samsung smart phone (GT-S 5830),which i am using for wi fi in india.can i get this in the airport arrival lounge in beijing.

Ram, currently many places in China provide free wifi service. However, you need to get the password if you plan use it. At hotels, you can ask the staff to get the password. According to what I found on the internet, Beijing capital airport has free wifi. The passengers can scan their passports on a self-service machine and get an account and password. Then they can use free wifi at the airport.

The rate of Calling to India is very low as RBM0.39/minute, you can buy a local SIM card.
