About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Is the 72 hour TWOV for Kunming effective right now?

I read in some websites that Kunming is implementing the 72hour visa. Some websites say it is in effect right now and some say that it isn't(maybe it hasnt been updated since the news is quite recent?)

The policy has not been put into effect yet in Kunming. According to the latest information, it will be put into effect in around Oct in 2014.
