hi, passport expires in mid of march 2015, can i use the passport to travel to china?

Hi, I am holding an European passport and it will expire in middle of March 2015. I will travel to China in Nov 14 and back to United States on Nov 30. Can I use this passport to get Chinese visa and complete my travel? I don't really have time to get new passport. Thanks

You will plan to apply in Oct?If so, it may be impossible to get it, because the validity of your passport is less than 6 months. If you can make sure your passport's validity is over 6 months, you can get a Tourist L to complete your travel in China, based on the policy. You can contact the embassy/consulate again for confirming.
