About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Chinese Visa For Business

I was supposed to come to Shenzen to inspect the factory and products for our christmas order. I booked my flight last minute and wasn't able to get a visa.

What do I need to get a VOA upon landing?

I am at the airport now and have cancelled my flights and rebooked to HK, what is the process and where can I get a VOA to enter mainland China in HK. Golden Week starts on OCT 1 and I need to be in Shenzen to oversee all production ASAP. Tomorrow night is preferable.

Only the 168RMB cash, your valid passport are needed to apply for a VOA.

The VOA can be got at the Luohu Border in Shenzhen, but cannot get in HK. Since you will fly to HK first, you are first suggested to try to apply for a Toursit L at HKIA if you do not have an invitation letter from your partner. The counter is at Counter A04, Arrivals Hall, Terminal 1. Good luck with you. If you cannot get one from there, you can try to apply for a VOA at the border.

I have an invitation with letter head and stamp. It is not original as the postage time would have taken to long. It is in m email.

How long does a tourist L or a VOA take? And what is a VOA exactly

Thank you for your response!

Usually, it takes around four working days to get a Tourist L. For getting a VOA, it is around several minutes.
The VOA is the visa on arrival.
