About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Hi I am thinking of hiking from jinshanling to simitai during mid december?

Will it be dangerous? Is it allowed?

Aaron, I am afraid that you can't hike from Jinshanling to Simatai. According to some travellers who have been there, there are guards who stop people hiking between these two sections.

5 days ago we tried the same. Somewhere on half way to Samatai is one of These Towers closed, inside some guys, one in uniform, claiming, that the wall is closed due to reconstruction. We had to return.
