International student applying for China Visa

Hello,

I am an international student residing in Australia. I will be going back to my home country and leaving for China from there, but I wont have time to make a permit to enter China in my home country. Can I apply for a tourist L for China here?

Do you have a resident permit to stay in Australia?
If so, you can try to apply a Tourist L in Australia through the local CVASC.

The student permit may be used for your application. The embassy needs it just to make sure that you have lived in Australia for a long time.
You can consult the embassy again before sumbitting your documents.
