Hi !
I study in OSAKA for 5 months, until January. I'm french.
I would like to visit my sister in Shanghai who studies there.
I would like to stay in Shanghai 4 days in November.

You need to have a single entry Tourist L for your visiting to Shanghai. You need to go to the local consulate for application in person. Remember to take your valid passport, your valid visa for Japan, your application form with a recent taken photo, your round trip tickets to China and hotel booking in Shanghai for applying. Besides, if you have any insurance, you can take it.
