About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Canadian needs Chinese visa while in Peru (not a resident)

Does anyone know if there's a way to get one for China while travelling in South America? When I call the consulate they say they only service Peru citizens and residents, and that I need to travel home to Canada.

I prefer not to mail my passport home and stay here without a passport. Any advice?

If you have already called the consulate and they cannot issue you it, you may need to mail your documents back to your home country for application.

Or you can look for a tour company in HK online and consult whether they can help you to get one. I saw many people got theirs in HK through local tour agencies. Anyway, good luck with you ~
