Fast train tickets available from xian to beijing

I would like to travel from xian to BJ at 22nd of october by fast train. However, fast train tickets for this journey are not available from october 8 onwards. Will they become available later on? Or will there not be any fast trains in that period? Thanks in advance. Milou
