About:Beijing Travel

city centre/best place to stay in Beijing

I with my family will be in this city from 31st Dec for 5 days (with kids) and was wondering what will be the best location/area to stay which is close to markets, train stations and major sight seeing places from where we can commute and do the sightseeing conveniently. Also would appreciate if could advise about the tentative temperature there at that time of the year. We are going there for the first time and would like to do most out of it. thanks,

Oh, you are recommended to book a hotel near Wangfujing area or Tiananmen Square (Qianmen), which will be convenient for shopping, sightseeing and transportation.

It would be winter of the city, so it shall be cold. Based on the past weather records, the temperature shall range from 18F to 43F. U'd better prepare warm clothing and boots for you and your kids. Sometimes, there might be haze, so prepare masks to protect yourselves.
