About:Chinese Zodiac Compatibility

Does it work? How will this work? Or will it work at all?

I'm a rat and my partner is a sheep. I'm a Gemini and he is Arise. I thought that this two sign are compatible?

Sheep and rat don't know each other deeply and lack communication. They both are lovely and open. However, their marriage doesn't make them become a good couple. Their family lack cozy atmosphere.
