Tourist Visa - Indian Passport holder (Bahrain Residence Permit Holder)

Hi
I am an Indian passport holder, residing in Bahrain (having a residence permit here) and am planning to visit Shenzhen in China for a holiday via Hong Kong, early next month.

I might be doing just a day trip to Shenzhen (by road) and hence would not be staying at a hotel there. Kindly let me know what documents are required in this case, besides application form, for a L type. Would greatly appreciate your prompt response, so that I may proceed accordingly.
