About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Different airports different airlines for entry and exit but same city (Shanghai) is a visa required

Coming to Shanghai from Korea with China Eastern to Hongqiao airport and leaving 67 hours later with Singapore Air to Australia from Pudong Airport do we need a Transit G?

If you have a confirmed seat on your next flight to Australia, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy without a Transit G. If you want to leave the airport, you can apply for a stay permit to leave.
