About:China City Guide

break down of hk$300 AE octupus card in hong kong

i not so clear about the break down of the hk$300 octupus card. for me , i need to drop at kowloon station from airport station. next 5 days from kowloon to airport ( going home ).

the actual value hk$250. hk$180 for AE, balance hk$70, i need to spend it on 4TH and 5TH day on public transport, if not it will not be refundable. is this correct.

U must refer to the Airport Express Travel Pass with the value of 300HKD. You cannot split the value like this. It is just a preferential card for travlers to HK, with 50HKD refundable deposit. The unlimted travel on MTR within 72 hours is started to be counted since the first use on MTR. U can use it on Airport Express whenever you want. After using that, remember to get your refund at any Airport Express Customer Service Center.
