Visa for stay in Shanghai and entry via Chongqing

Hi, I travel from Sydney to Shanghai with a connection in Chongqing, my total time in PRC will be less than 72 hours. I am UK citizen with onward international travel ticket from Shanghai and secondly, what do I need to do on arrival at Chongqing to make my connection to Shanghai. Many thanks

Johnny, if your total stay is more than 24 hours, you should apply for a G type in advance. If it is less than 24 hour, you just need to apply for a stay permit when you land at the first airport in China.
