How to take medicine into China?

I am going to visit China next year and have to take prescription medication with me as i have a thyroid issue and diabetes. Do i need to have anything to verify this from my doctor. I was thinking of having them packed in the sealed daily dosage packs we can get at the chemists here. Can you advise if this would be okay. If not please advise me of how to carry my medication.
thank you Kim

You just need to take the prescription for your medicine. Besides, it is reminded that you can only take around 7-day's amount when entering China.
