14 days only for first time s2 visitor?

I'm working in China and my wife is coming over for a visit. She will be applying for an S2 visa. We got some info that for first time China visitors they only give 14 days. Does this also apply to S2 type?

It is not certain and it depends on the real situation. For S2, the duration of stay is no longer than 180 days, but it not so short, around ten days. Usually, it will last around one to five months. So please do not worry. If she wants to stay longer, maybe over 180 days, she can try to apply for a S1.
