About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Dubai - Shanghai - Tokio- Shanghai - Dubai

I have planned to enter Shanghai fom Dubai, then leaving to Tokio within 72 hours, returning after 1 day and staying another 72 hours before leaving to Dubai again - would that be possibile with the transit rule?
