About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Details required for Chinese visa

Hi
I'm flying to Chengdu then train to Lhasa to join a tour through Tibet to Nepal. My Tibet Travel operator says not to mention that I'm going to Tibet on my Tourist L application.
According to the application notes, I must provide a detailed itinerary and proof of onward travel. Assuming I don't want to purchase a flight out of China, what is the usual way around this?
Thanks for your help.
John

You can ask your tour company in China to provide you an invitation letter, so that you will not need to use the flight tickets.

For the Tibet issue, will you only visit Tibet? If not, you can just write down other cities and places but not Tibet. If you only visit Tibet, you can write some places and cities ramdomly. The routes can be changed after you get the Tourist L, so it is available.

Personally speaking, you can ask your tour agency to help you more on this issue and I am sure that they are willing to do so.
